Infiknight Archetypes: Spell Trickster
by Brandon S.
Publisher: Paizo

Infiknight Archetypes: Spell Trickster A great expansion of the content that is well worth the price! There are a lot of great options here for expanding out some spells that while good, tend to get a bit lost in the shuffle. I was excited to see an option for using Disrupt Undead to force out different afflictions that are often caused by the restless dead, for example. Approximate and restyle are two spells from Secrets of Magic that while I like to see in the game, I'd probably never use. Mr. Knight has made both of them considerably more interesting with the feats Index Tome and Destyle. Still too niche for you? Well does he have the mechanic for you! With the brand new Trick Tags you can get spell trick consumables to put your money where your feats are! I don't really have any major criticisms. Maybe I'd like the Snowball Fight feat to give a non-lethal option, but that's honestly about the only suggestion I have. Balance feels broadly appropriate, and formating is exactly what you'd expect ...

Arduin Trilogy

Publisher: Emperors Choice Games & Miniatures C

Arduin Trilogy I really enjoyed purchasing this product because it finally reprinted David A. Hargrave's (hereafter DAH) Arduin Trilogy (in PDF). I would love to have a hard copy form. Full disclosure, I've been a big Arduin fan since the 1980's and I owned (at one point) this Trilogy in print. (As well as most other products for Arduin, sadly no longer the case, I'm all PDF now). The great things about this product; 1. Completeness, which in a re-edited reprint is wonderful (the original artwork is back, along with new art). 2. Wonderful, cool, weird, ideas to add to, or inspire your fantasy game (tired of the regular races try one of over sixteen new ones). 3. New classes for your game. 4. More than fifty pages of new monsters (not including new Golem types and more). 5. Thirty-six pages of new spells. 6. Seventeen pages of new magical items and treasures. 7. DAH's campaign setting, capsule descriptions of History, Inns, dungeons, noble families, infamous outlaws (to spark...

Monstrous Miscellany #02 So 'Monstrous Miscellany #02' By James Mishler & Jodi Moran-Mishler Compatible with Labyrinth Lord was sent to me by the authors. This is a great little monster addition for your OSR or Old School games. The Mishlers bring the monsters with Monstrous Miscellany #02. Monstrous Miscellany #02 brings to the table the " Giant Centaur – A giant creature appropriate for Lost Worlds and Mysterious Islands. Krum the Smasher – A monstrous godling who does nothing but smash the works of civilization leaving ruin and suffering in his wake. Brain Moths – One eyed, one tentacled, flying purple brain eaters from another dimension Ulfartrolls – Born of the union of lycanthropic witches and trolls, these berserker beasts surpass their ancestors in their wickedness and might!" So the Mishlers on a roll because these monsters are a fit for a number of OSR Pulp & Old School game campaigns. Many of these monsters are straight out of mythology, literature, & l...

The Palladium Fantasy® Role-Playing Game Revised Edition - 1st Edition Rules
by David T.
Publisher: Palladium Books

The Palladium Fantasy® Role-Playing Game Revised Edition - 1st Edition Rules Purchased as i have happy memories of playing this system. It is massively complicated with 8 stats to D&D's 6 and a mass of classes, which were expanded in each supplement. However, characters seemed more realistic and battle even more so with armour taking damage and needing repair nd replacement. A hugely detailed world as well.

Mimic Book of Mimics

Mimic Book of Mimics This book was great flavor with many ideas to build off of. The creatures and ideas within are adaptable to near any scenario and helped me come pup with my own ideas about how to implement them. The only thing that I used straight from the book were the subclasses subclasses, which were top notch, and the *Mocks* which are hilarious additions.

Foreven Worlds: Rusted Fang Station Using the Mongoose Traveller design system, an 800 ton space station a refuge for the down and out and desperate. Great idea, loads of background and well executed. There are 5 decks with full colour plans and space allocated to Cargo, Hotel and Commerce. I can't think of anything missing and a reasonable price.

Achtung! Cthulhu 2d20 Quickstart I really enjoyed this adventure. It included enough action and drama to satisfy my craving for gritty war stories while still being lighthearted enough to keep all of us at the table engaged. It was a fun adventure that lasted our group 6h divided into two game nights. I don't think that I really grasped the system after just one adventure, but this is an excellent introductory adventure that will leave you wanting more.

Volo’s Waterdeep Enchiridion (5e) The 5e D&D version of waterdeep is presented here in detail. I especially liked the section on feasts and the handy tips on how people talk in waterdeep. There are no maps, but I'm sure a previous edition map is still valid. The price prevents me giving 5 stars.

Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition Quick-Start Rules I got the idé to run the adventure from the YouTuber Seth Skorkowsky, who said it was a good introduction to Call of Cthulhu. It did not disappoint - my group and I had a great time playing it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone running Call of Cthulhu for the first time, since it is easy to run and was a hit in my game group.

An Axe to Grind (Level 3 PCs)

An Axe to Grind (Level 3 PCs) A 5e D&D adventure for 3rd level PC's. There are 9 possible encounter sites involved with a player friendly map and a fog of war map without a grid, which I thought was a nice touch. The adventure revolves around a missing lord and his loggers, who are cutting down a forest and upsetting a druid leading to a lot of interesting nature based encounters. I think it also makes for some excellent RP opportunities if there are any Elves, Rangers, Druids or other nature orientated characters in the party. I have paid double for similar adventures so consider this one excellent value for money. ...
